Planning and Development are processes that permeate most human activities. Practitioners may be found working in a wide range of contexts – public and private sectors as well as not-for-profit organizations. Our program emphasizes planning for resilient rural, regional and remote communities in Canada and internationally. Our graduates are highly successful in securing employment in the field.
The Master of Planning program is designed for individuals with at least two years of experience seeking to add key skills and capacities in rural planing and development. The program provides the core competencies required for planning and development and facilitates flexibility to ensure students select options that build on their current skills and knowledge.
